Tibisay Hernandez is a dynamic force in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), bringing her extensive experience from government, education, non-profits, and the private sector. As the founder of "A Curious Space," she’s on a mission to transform organizations into more inclusive and empowering environments through engaging leadership and DEI training. Her innovative approach and passionate commitment make her a standout leader in creating positive organizational change.

Tibisay earned her Master’s degree in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology from the University at Albany, where she’s also finishing up her doctoral degree in Education. She’s been recognized with several awards, like the Student Affairs Distinguished Excellence in Diversity Award and the Black and Latino Adult Achiever Award. She’s also part of the 2019 SUNY Hispanic Leadership Institute cohort, a national leadership honor society called Omicron Delta Kappa, and Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc., a Latina-oriented sorority.

Her career is truly diverse, having tackled roles across various industries. She’s skilled in analyzing data, developing training programs, and designing solutions that work. Tibisay also excels at creating effective policies and strategic planning. She has a talent for connecting with people, driving meaningful change, and inspiring others with her genuine enthusiasm and vision.
